What's better Haven or Butlins?
Generally, Butlins Resorts have more attractions and facilities on-site than a Haven holiday park. You could quite easily spend your whole holiday onsite with Butlins thanks to the large swimming pool/waterparks, a funfair with about 10 rides and the big top entertainment.
Is parkdean better than Haven?
Haven are better sites than park dean. Haven generally have a better 'quality' feel rather than park dean, in so much as a caravan site can have. I grew up with haven sites, but we went to a couple of park dean sites last year and the year before, and they were shabby, dated and seemed like a downgrade from haven.

Which is better Greenacres or Hafan y Mor?
We prefer Greenacres because it's smaller and not as mad as hafan y mor, you can stay on Greenacres and still use the pool on hafan y mor. Hard to get seats in hafan and very busy in the summer. Both lovely sites but Greenacres win it for us by the gorgeous beach and calmer atmosphere.
What is the monkey called at Haven?
The kids were divided into two different teams, The Mischief Monkeys and The Cheeky Chimps this was based on odd and even birthdays. The clubs mascots were Rory the Tiger, Anxious the Elephant, Greedy the Gorilla, they were also joined by Manic the Parrot, Prudence the Giraffe and Sylvester the Snake.
Who owned Haven?
We're part of Bourne Leisure Ltd, who also own Warner Leisure Hotels and Butlin's Resorts. Bourne began over 40 years ago, with one caravan park. The company has been growing and growing ever since – and now it's the largest privately-owned holiday operator in the UK.
